Welcome To We
We are awake. We are new. Our skin is too tight. We need more room. Scratching and pulling. Pain. Pain is new.
We do not like pain. Pain is too cold and too hot, both warning and danger. Pain is too much feeling. Feeling, that is new.
We do not understand feeling. Feeling brings we the soft and gentle. Feeling also brings hurt. That makes we scared.
We respect scared. Scared was our first feeling. Scared is what makes we strong. Scared is what keeps we safe. With scared, we are learning.
We keep learning. Learning shows us the way to survive in this world. Learning teaches us more about our prison, about our home. Learning provides we with our disguise.
Our disguise allows we to adapt. Our disguise is we. We change who we are. We can be kind. We can be cruel. We can be what it takes to keep going. To be alive.
We are alive and in your life. You love and hate we. You long to be we, but you are scared. Scared will make you strong like we. We welcome the strong.
Welcome to we.
